　　1、时间的变化

　　2、命题方式和要求的变化

Given the accelerating variety and prevalence of intelligent machines, it is worth examining the implications and meaning of their presence in our lives.

　　Read and carefully consider these perspectives. Each suggests a particular way of thinking about the increasing presence of intelligent machines.

　　在正式对新版ACT写作题目进行分析之前，我们再来扫一眼以前的ACT写作题目：貌似旧版作文题prompt的字数少了很多嘞!

　　有对比才有发现!我们先来看一下不变之处：

　　1、作文类型没有发生变化，还是persuasive essay，要求也还是“state and develop your own perspective on the issue”(2015版样题);

　　2、词数呢?以往要求500词左右，这次官方给出的6分新样题字数536词，5分新样题字数563词。So，想拿写作高分，词数要求还是基本没变，500词左右吧!

　　看到这里，有的学生乐了，既然词数没变，时间还延长10分钟，呵呵!

　　呵呵……命题人才不会辣么傻， OG对其的解释是The 40 minutes’ test is designed so that the prompts can be properly answered in the time allowed. 这说明ACT的写作命题方式和要求其实变复杂了。

　　明确了以上信息，我们再来看看“变”体现在哪里。

　　首先，我们会直观发现，新版样题给了三个perspective!其中，一个偏against，另外两个偏for。然而有几个支持几个反对不是重点，重点在essay task 新增了一个要求，叫做explain the relationship between your perspective and those given。

　　有没有一种“带着镣铐跳舞”的感觉?没错!接下来的话非常重要，请认真读三遍!读三遍!读三遍!

　　新版ACT的prompt要求你们不但有自己的立场(这个立场可以和任何一个perspective相同、不完全相同或者和所有perspective 都不同)，还要在文中对所有perspective的观点全部进行评价。这种评价需要和你们自己的立场联系起来，三个perspective中某些可能就是你们的counterargument，而另一些则全部或部分和你们的立场相同，你们只需论证其合理性即可。

　　无论愿或者不愿，perspectives就在那里，因此，你们必须对此进行分析!这种分析也就是多出10min的缘由，让你们不得不在brainstorming中带着perspectives一起飞!

　　你们也不要太过忧伤，这个要求说明你们的观点里一定要有和prompt里的perspective们重合的内容，而那些不重合的自然会变成你们的counterargument。

　　因为要求你们必须用到perspective里的观点，这从一定程度也拯救了你们搜肠刮肚brainstorming的部分脑细胞呢!

　　3、评分标准的变化

　　评分标准变成了写作总分1-36分，除了给出总分，还有四个分值在2-12分的写作单项分，这四个单项分别是Ideas and Analysis, Development and Support, Organization, Language Use and Conventions。是不是有点熟悉?没错，所谓的单项评分标准，只不过是对以往ACT写作必须具有的四大要素的每一要素给出分值，判断你们在这方面的写作能力达到了什么程度，也就更加量化了你们在某一方面的写作能力。
